Books: Giveaway

I first got this book out of the library and loved it so much that I hinted to the hubster that it would make a lovely Christmas present.  Promptly forgetting all about our conversation, I was delighted when long after Christmas it turned up on the door step!

Due to a happy mix up due to a delayed order, I have the gorgeous book Stitch With Love by Mandy Shaw to giveaway this week!  Whether you're an expert at embroidery, a complete beginner who'd love to learn or you just like looking at beautiful creative projects, this is the book for you.  It contains detailed instructions on how to create 11 different embroidery stitches and 20 easy projects which look stunning.  All the project examples have been made using white, natural linen and red fabric and co-ordinating threads which just make it a joy to look at and you can easily imagine the delight of someone receiving one of these gifts you've made them.  Stunning detail.

  4. What a great book. I would love this book but would even more to give to my mum. She has been teaching herself lots of different little crafts over the last few years. Her mum is very good at these sort if things but my mum never really got to learn as my Nanna never had the time to teach her, she would just do it for her. Aimee

    1. Thanks Aimee! That's so lovely that your mum is enjoying learning all the things she would have liked to learn earlier, now! Beautiful.

I love your comments, they make me feel all warm and fuzzy (apart from those by griefers and spammers).
